João Centeno author of the excellent Lagos Militar Blog has just published a new book on the Allied Anglo-Portuguese Army (1809-1814) – O Exército Aliado Anglo–Português (1809 – 1814), Lisboa, Tribuna da História, 2011 (ISBN: 9789898219305).

Dr. Centeno is the author of another book on The Portuguese Army in the Peninsular War – From Roussillon to the end of the second French Invasion (1807-1810), O Exército Português na Guerra Peninsular, Lisboa, Prefácio, 2008, intended to be the I volume of a vaster work.
Apart from his various posts at his Blog, Dr. Centeno, in co-authorship with Colonel Rui Moura, also published an interesting article on the British Officers who served the Portuguese Army in the Infantry Regiment Nº14 (Oficiais Britânicos ao Serviço do Exército Português no Regimento de Infantaria 14), published in «Revista Militar», Dec. 2010.
