Colloquium organised by the Army in collaboration with the Geographical Society of Lisbon which will be held at the de Sociedade de Geografia de Lisboa (Morning Session) and at the Army Infrastructure Directorate, Lavradio Palace, Campo de Santa Clara, Lisbon (Afternoon Session).
The Academician Paulo Jorge Estrela will deliver, at 15h00, at Lavradio Palace, a communication under the theme – Fontes Pereira de Melo e a Falerística: mercês e reconhecimento.

Portuguese Academy of Ex-Líbris – Formal Session 14.12.1919
EXHIBITION EX-LIBRIS WITH PHALERISTIC REPRESENTATION On 14 December 2019 the II Commemorative Session of the 67th Anniversary of the Portuguese Academy of Ex-Libris took place starting with the opening of the Exhibition EX-LIBRIS WITH PHALERISTIC REPRESENTATION, curated by Dr. Vítor Escudero.
With 50 ex-libris exhibited, mainly heraldic, containing images of insignias of Orders of Chivalry or Merit, Medals or Associations, most of them from the magnificent collection of Dr. Vítor Escudero, the ex-libris were in many cases accompanied by insignias of the orders/medals represented.
This event is to be praised by all those who are interested in ex-libris and in Phaleristics, since there are not many Portuguese ex-libris, especially heraldic ones with representations of Phaleristics – about 200, according to Dr. Vítor Escudero, who also prefaced the Catalogue with the descriptive list of the exhibited ex-libris.
